Keeping a Shortlist of Favourites

KinkMarket · · 3 min read

When you browse for a while you often find several things you like, from different sellers, all at once. Buying everything straight away is rarely the plan, but closing the page means losing track of what caught your eye. A little organisation makes the choice easier.

Keep a short list

Save the listings you like in one place, whether that is a bookmark folder or a simple note with the links. A short list of favourites is easy to come back to and stops good finds slipping away.

Note why each one appealed

Add a word or two beside each link: the colour, the wear time, the seller or the price. When you return later, those notes remind you what made each item stand out and make comparing them much quicker.

Compare like with like

Group similar items together so you can weigh them side by side. Looking at three pairs of heels at once makes it clear which description, photographs and terms suit you best.

Remember that items can sell

Many listings are one of a kind. If something on your list is the only one and you know you want it, it may be worth deciding sooner. A list helps you choose, but it does not hold the item for you.

Follow the sellers you like

If a seller keeps appearing on your list, look at their shop as a whole. Sellers often add new items, and knowing whose style you enjoy saves time on every future visit.

Clear it out now and then

Remove items that have sold or no longer appeal. A list that stays short and current is far more useful than a long one you never look at.
