Talk to sellers through the site rather than swapping personal phone numbers or social accounts. It keeps your conversations together, keeps your details private and gives you a clear record if anything goes wrong.

Look after your account

Use a strong password that you do not use anywhere else, and sign out on shared devices. It only takes a moment and stops anyone else seeing your orders or messages.

Share only what is needed

A seller needs a delivery address for a physical item and nothing more. You never have to share your full name, your job or anything personal beyond that. Polite and brief is always enough.

Tidy up when you are done

Once an order has arrived safely, you can clear old notifications and delivery emails if you prefer. A quick tidy every so often keeps your inbox and your phone free of anything you would rather other people did not see.
