Writing a Listing Title Buyers Actually Search For
A buyer looking for something specific types a few plain words and scans the results. If your title uses those words, you are in the running. If it is a clever phrase, you may never be seen.
Start with what it is
Lead with the item itself. Thong, stockings, socks, a worn set. The first words matter most because they are what a buyer reads first.
Add the details people filter by
Colour, material and size are the next things buyers look for. Black lace, cotton, size medium. These small words help the right buyer pick you out quickly.
Include one thing that makes it yours
Worn for three days, after the gym, my favourite pair. One personal detail gives a reason to click without crowding the title.
Keep the jokes for the description
Your personality is a big part of why buyers come back, so let it shine in the description. The title has one job, which is to be found.
Check it like a buyer
Read your title and ask what you would search for if you wanted this item. If those words are missing, add them.
